Nose Reshaping (Rhinoplasty)

- If you desire to improve the appearance of your nose

Recovery
- Following surgery your nose will be stuffy
- You will experience variable degrees of swelling and bruising for the first 7-10 days
- Most patients can return to work and social events after 7-10 days with make up as needed
- Eyeglasses, which put pressure on the nose, should be avoided for four to six weeks after surgery
- Nasal swelling continues to decrease for six to twenty-four months following surgery
Ancillary Procedures
- Augmentation mentoplasty (chin implant). Some patients may require augmentation of their chin in order to achieve a balanced appearance to their nose. This procedure may be discussed with you at the time of your rhinoplasty consultation.
