Titan Laser®
The Titan Laser uses laser light energy, an infrared light source, to tighten and stimulate collagen production in the skin. The greater the amount of collagen in the dermis, the more youthful and resilient the skin will appear.
Unlike ablative lasers, which remove the top layer of skin, this laser specifically targets the deep layer of skin and leaves the overlying superficial skin intact. As a result, the recovery from this procedure is minimal with very little down time. Patients are typically able to return to work shortly after the procedure is completed.
Who is a candidate?
- The Titan system is “color blind.” Any skin type, regardless of ethnicity or skin coloration can be treated.
- The ideal candidates are any skin type, with mild to moderate skin laxity.
What is the treatment like?
- Depending on the area, the procedure can take anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours.
- A patient may experience mild discomfort during the treatment, but most tolerate the procedure well.
- We recommend that you wear comfortable clothing to the appointment and arrive with a clean face, with all make up removed.
What can I expect from the treatment?
- The results from this procedure are not complete immediately and may take 4 to 6 weeks to develop.
- Patients may need anywhere from one to four treatments at 2 to 4 week intervals to achieve ideal results.
